Its smaller than ever. At 1.8" tall and 0.3" thin, its the smallest iPod ever. To make the iPod Shuffle small, the controls have been moved to the earbud chord.

Revamped Controls. The controls are now located on the right earbud chord like many mobile phones. This makes the iPodShuffle even more convenient to use. You can navigate your music — and activate the VoiceOver feature — without taking your eyes off your run, your ride, or whatever you’re doing.

Bigger Storage. Now with 4GB of storage space, you have plenty of room to store hours and hours of music — up to 1,000 songs. With room for multiple playlists, too.

It can Speak. Yes it can, thanks to an exciting new feature called VoiceOver. Say you’re listening to a song and want to know the title or the artist. With the press of a button, VoiceOver tells you as the music dips down. It even announces the names of your playlists. And when your battery needs charging, VoiceOver tells you that, too. It also speaks over 14 different languages, So it can tell you song titles and artists in the correct languages.

Multiple Playlists. Now you can have multiple playlists in your iPod, so you can listens to songs depending on your mood. It can also tell you the name of the playlist. So its easy to swith between them and find the one you want without looking.
