The Asus P30A is the latest addition to the business line of the Taiwanese computer maker. Designed for professionals, the P30A boasts a magnesium alloy construction for strength, ShockShield for data protection and Intel’s Anti-theft technology.The Asus P30A system is powered by a 1.4Ghz Core Duo processor - a frequency low enough to keep things cool while possibly consuming less power. The The Asus P30A can handle up to 4GB of memory and buyers can choose between a 250GB 5400rpm drive, or a faster 320GB 7200rpm version.
The Asus P30A comes with a DVD SuperMulti DL burner, a 13.3-inch 1366×768 LED-Backlit display, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. It supports WiMax, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 as well as optional 3G/3.5 mobile network.
Obviously, there's an integrated webcam. the Notebook weighs only 3.3Lbs, but has only a 4-Cell battery that is hoped to provide four hours of battery life. There's no pricing information at this point.
