HTC Hero - The Flash Android Phone

Andorioid phones are flooding the market of mobile phones these days. Mobile phone developers are competing with one another to bring out the best Android phone so far. There seems to have developed a wild goose chase in the development of Android phones. Turning a new leaf in the book of Android Phones is the all new HTC Hero.

The HTC Hero is HTC's third handset to be powered by the android operating system. Announced at a press event in London in June, the HTC Hero is one of the best spec'd HTC Android devices to be launched across Europe. The HTC Hero is a purely touchscreen device that features a 3.2-inch TFT-LCD display with a 320 x 480 resolution, 5 mega-pixel auto-focus camera, 3.5 mm audio jack, and a custom built HTC user interface.

Like the T-Mobile G1 and Google Ion/HTC Magic, the HTC Hero has the signature curve at the bottom, but it's a bit more svelte at 4.4 inches tall by 2.2 inches wide and 0.5 inch thick. In addition, it features a 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen with an antifingerprint screen coating.
However, the real beauty of the smartphone lies beneath the surface. The new Sense UI allows users to customize the device to their needs and give them more access to the information they want at a glance through widgets, customized profiles, and consolidated views of all communication with a contact, whether it be e-mail, text or multimedia message, Facebook status updates, or photos. In addition, HTC said that all of its future devices will use Sense UI.

HTC Hero delivers a more complete web browsing experience and allows mobile users to access a broad variety of Adobe Flash technology based content available on the web today. As the first Android device with Flash, the new HTC Hero represents a key milestone for Android and the Flash Platform. With close to 80 percent of all videos online delivered with Adobe Flash technology, consumers want to access rich Web content on-the-go. Search just about anything, anywhere on your HTC Hero. The dedicated Search button combs through tweets in Twitter, locates people in your contact list, finds emails in your inbox, searches through appointments in the calendar and very nearly finds needles in haystacks.
